Premier Exhibitor was a tie between Shane Heizer and Shelby Stabler. z North Carolina State Fair Angus Show Doug Satree, Montague, Texas, evaluated 66 entries at the North Carolina State Fair Angus Show Oct. 22 in Raleigh, N.C. Grand champion bull was Wood Capone 2300, a Feb. 2013 son of Gamble's Safe Bet by Wood Angus Farm LLC, Willow Spring. The bull was named reserve supreme champion bull over all breeds. Reserve grand champion bull in the Angus show was CCC Artistic B35, a June 2014 son of WCC Artistic W7 by John Bray, Lawsonville. Wood Angus won champion get-of-sire and champion junior get-of-sire with progeny of SAV Bismark, as well as champion produce of dam with progeny of SAV Emblynette 8131.
