z Maryland State Fair & Angus Breeder's Show Ray Ramsey, Greenfi eld, Ind., judged 58 entries at the Maryland State Fair and Angus Breeders' Show Aug. 24 in Timonium, Md. Grand champion bull was Ajt Highly Impressive 304a, an April 2013 son of Dameron First Impression by Ashley Rodeheaver, Friendsville. Reserve grand champion bull was SJH Last Impression 903, a Jan. 2013 son of Dameron First Impression by Samantha Herndon, Berryville, Va., and Meadow Brook Farm, Frederick. Division winners in the bull show included: JrCC–Frey's KJF Black N Gold B55, by Fred Frey; RJrCC–Shady Oaks First Product, by Kevin Spicer, Woodbine; and IC–SAB IM 6200 7113, by Savannah Brauning, Finksburg; and JDH Cattle Co., Dover, Pa. Grand champion female was Frey's KJF ArkPride U41-X112, a Sept. 2012 daughter of Whitestone Black Arrow Z101 by Fred Frey. Fred Frey also won reserve grand champion female with Frey's KJF Arkpride U41-y101, a Sept. 2013 daughter of SAV Pioneer 7301. Division winners in the female show included: JrCC–Ms. Frosty 3014, by Kyle Schulze, Woodbine; RJrCC–Meadow Brook Rita 443, by Meadow Brook Farm; RSrCC–Fox Meadow Evergreen 524, by Taylor Clarke, Rocky Ridge; IC–Cool Pines Lady 5813, by Shane Heizer, Hagerstown; RIC–DVA Wendy 375, by James Full, Woodbine; JrC–Loretta 307 of Tripp, by Full Day Enterprise, Woodbine; RJrC–Stonewall Angus Elsa A01, by Shane Heizer; RSrC–Pleasant Valley Elsa 1282, by Phillip Zicht & Family, Winchester, Ind.; and Shelby Stabler, Gaithersburg. Kyle Schulze won grand champion cow- calf pair with Ms. Frosty 3012, a March 2012 daughter of Card Right Answer 40X. A March 2014 heifer calf sired by Dameron First Impression completes the winning pair. Meadow Brook Farm won reserve grand champion cow-calf pair with Turning Pt. Glory Rita 9957, a May 2009 daughter of RLA JVW 4L41 0073 S514, and her March 2014 daughter of Connealy Confi dence 0100. Frey Family Angus, Drumore, Pa., won best fi ve head, pair of calves, produce of dam, and champion group of two females. Premier Breeder was Frey Family Angus. Premier Exhibitor was DLB Angus, Finksburg. z Keystone Int'l Livestock Exposition Angus Show Eric Gerdes, West Point, Iowa, judged 108 entries at the Keystone Int'l Livestock Exposition (KILE) Angus Show Oct. 3 in Harrisburg, Pa. Grand champion bull was Cherry Knoll Total Product, an Oct. 2013 son of Connealy Final Product by Matthew Mitchell, Reinholds, Pa. Reserve grand champion bull was Ajt Highly Impressive 304a, an April 2013 son of Dameron First Impression by Ashley Rodeheaver, Friendsville, Md.
