On-test report (Oct. 20-21) The Western Illinois University (WIU) Bull Testing Program weighed 69 bulls, 44 of them Angus, on test Oct. 20-21. Bulls entered in the 112-day test must have been born Jan. 1-March 31, 2014, and must have been entered by Aug. 31. Bulls were delivered Sept. 29-30. Bulls will be indexed by breed group (if there are more than four of a breed), as well as against all bulls on test. Both indexes are based on 70% ADG ratio + 15% marbling ratio + 15% REA ratio. Interim weights were scheduled for Nov. 17, 2014, Dec. 15 and Jan. 12, 2015. The test will conclude Feb. 9-10 with the 43rd annual test sale March 13 in Macomb, Ill.
